First Five Hawaiʻi is proud to share information about free events happening across the state, from educational workshops to family-friendly activities. These events are designed to support your child’s development and help families connect with their communities.
Kapolei City Lights returns with this year’s theme, “A Season of Stars.” Presented by the City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Parks and Recreation and community partners, this free, family-friendly event opens with a festive block party and parade.

ʻIolani Palace welcomes all residents to Kamaʻāina Sunday where guests can explore the Palace for free, immerse themselves in Hawaiian culture, taste ‘ono food, support local vendors, enjoy lively entertainment, and more.
