Literature and Hawaiʻi's Children

Get ready for the 23rd Biennial Conference on Literature and Hawai'i’s Children, Discovering the Magic of Children’s Literature, will take place June 5–7, 2026, as a free hybrid event featuring both in-person and virtual programming.

Featured guests include authors Kristiana “Tiana” Kahakauwila and Kelly Murashige, along with author/illustrator Jing Jing Tsong.

Attendees can enjoy author talks, family activities, art and writing contest awards, and a Children’s Literature Hawaiʻi Hall of Fame induction ceremony honoring Graham Salisbury.
