Public Pre-K Program

The EOEL Public Prekindergarten Program is provided in collaboration with the Hawai’i Department of Education (HIDOE). The program provides high-quality learning experiences that address children’s physical development and health, social and emotional development, cognition, language and literacy, and approaches to learning.

EOEL currently operates classrooms on all islands and also offers programs in Hawaiian language immersion. Classroom locations are on select HIDOE campuses and are free to eligible children. All teachers are highly qualified and class size is limited to 20 children with 2 teachers per classroom.
