Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

SNAP helps families buy nutritious food that stops hunger and helps them eat better. Families who qualify get a special card called an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card. They can use this card to buy food at participating stores. This program makes sure that families with less money can still get healthy food.
